Registered with the National Institute of Viticulture in 1924, the estate that Rutini Wines owns in La Consulta, Uco Valley (Mendoza), embodies the winery’s pioneering spirit in the region. From the 2024 harvest comes a wine created to honor that legacy, proudly bearing the name Rutini Finca Centenaria La Consulta Malbec on its label.
“Rutini Finca Centenaria La Consulta Malbec is more than a wine: it represents a century of winemaking history and, at the same time, an invitation to look toward the future with the same passion and commitment that inspired its beginnings,” said Mariano Di Paola and Juan Pablo Murgia, the renowned winemakers behind this limited‑edition release.
On this 30‑hectare estate, planted at 950 meters above sea level, varieties such as Malbec, Sauvignon Blanc, and Cabernet Franc are grown using a traditional irrigation system that requires meticulous manual work. Its alluvial, loam‑clay, nutrient‑rich soils give rise to wines with a fruity character, freshness, and balance.
Such is the case of Rutini Finca Centenaria La Consulta Malbec 2024, a wine aged for 12 months in barrels, noted for its strong typicity and freshness. With aromas of violets and red fruits, it offers a smooth entry on the palate, fine tannins, and a pleasant, juicy acidity. An elegant wine with great aging potential and remarkable versatility for food pairing.
The wine is available in three formats: 750 ml, 1.5‑liter, and 3‑liter bottles.
